This point to reeks of corporate interference all over. The fresh 2003 series, despite its determined problems, took itself seriously and featured an ongoing storyline that gave the characters something to do. It was also reasonably well engaging, especially in the later seasons when the reveal amped up its fight choreography and featured varying colour palettes.

All this seems to be gone with Rapid Forward. The action has been toned down to generic brawls, the animation is flat and the colours are garish and intelligent. The writers seem to be building some kind of ongoing sage, one featuring Cody’s gross uncle and another featuring an alien threat; it’s vaguely challenging, objective nowhere arrive as fun as the frail Shredder, Bishop, Hun, Karai stories. In-between there are lots of pointless filler adventures and Cody Jones is shoved down the viewers’ throats every episode. As the obligatory kid character he could be worse, but he’s not a character you’ll miss. And “It’s Ninja Time!” is unbiased dreary and grating.

Really, the present isn’t quite Ninja Turtles anymore, you could replace our heroes with anyone and the dynamics wouldn’t change. It’s quiet silly every so often, and over the course of these 13 episodes the explain does seem to obtain its comfort zone. It’s probably for the best that 4Kids is giving us a cheap 2-disc plot, as the series would be hard to recommend otherwise.

I bought this the other day having seen it on 4Kids one saturday. I’m a fan of the turtles so whether its that expansive or not I’ll bewitch it unbiased to have it probably lol but yea this is decent enough.

Don’t seek information from it to be overly traditional or as gloomy as the previous incarnation. It can be be described as probably a mixture of the first and the 2003 series. They don’t glimpse overly childish but at the same time they aren’t that as gloomy as you’d maybe question.

I’m almost through the two discs and maybe its because I’ve only recently starting watching again, I dunno, but I’ve sparkling great enjoyed it. It was a bit of a dissapointment but if you give it a chance its not that awful.

I’m actually looking forward to season two. (I’m 18 by the draw and its unbiased as attractive and absorbing as it can be in my opionion)

There’s no better way to appreciate this epic biographical adventure than to see it projected in 70 millimeter onto a huge theater screen. Brubaker has his own noble protection, from his fellow pilots (including Charles McGraw in a fine supporting role), his admiring admiral (Frederic March), and from the helicopter scouts (Mickey Rooney and Earl Holliman) who’ve saved his life on previous missions. But his ambivalence–and his fear that the Toko-Ri mission will be his last–is what gives the film its potent emotional impact. Holden is perfect in his role, and director Mark Robson steadfastly avoids any false sentiment or macho theatrics that would diminish the film’s devastating climax. The Bridges at Toko-Ri is also a superlative showcase for Naval operations; the aerial sequnces earned an Oscar for special effects, and complete Navy cooperation assures total authenticity in the “flat-top” aircraft carrier scenes.
